I work at the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Institute on the IMAGE model. Currently integrating chicken suffering into the scenario work. Additionally, I have helped Open Paws with the creation of their "animal friendlier" LLM. Currently also developing a benchmark on this topic.

Benchmarking LLMs on animals
Currently developing a benchmark based on this approach, which is tailored to animal welfare. The idea is to get animal welfare scientists to create stories about animals, and observing which choices the LLMs make.
