I am a research engineer in Allen Institute for AI. My research interests are in generative computer vision, visual understanding/reasoning and 3D vision. I enjoy basketball, snowboarding, reading and petting dogs on the street. I am hopeful about lab grown meat and applications of AI in this area.

Mentee role
The mentees will be expected to work on the complete project of setting up the data and model pipeline. Then read the current literature and generate new ideas to try.

Applications of AI to propose new variants for lab-grown meat
At an abstract level, we would read and access all the open source tools and data on lab grown meat. Then we'll solidify it into one central repository and then develop tools to predict new variants. If the repository exists, we build on top of it and solve the challenge of generating new variants. I am thinking of it as applying generating biology AI models to this.
