Bio
I hold a PhD in Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence from the University of Hamburg. I have worked since 2000 for the United Nations in the humanitarian, recovery and sustainable development fields as well as in data and information management. In addition to UN Headquarters in New York I have been posted to Palestine, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Sudan, Libya, where I was temporarily the highest UN representative during the revolution, South Sudan, Bangladesh, Maldives and India. I am currently a consultant, mostly for the UN, for disaster information management as well as for AI and based in New York.
